Unique scrapbooking ideas

As an artistic form I firmly believe that there is no right or wrong way to expressing oneself when it come to scrapbooking. True, that this hobby has vastly evolved from the much simpler times, with almost every imaginable event now a reason to break out the scrapbooking supplies.
As I am still researching the different and unique scrapbooking ideas out there, expect more ideas over the next couple of days, but today I am kicking off with holiday cards
Holiday cards
Let’s admit it – Hallmark has a card for every holiday, occasion or in the works to create one, ranging from breathtaking to funny to memorable. Holding a special place in our hearts throwing them out seems like such a waste so why not have a scrapbook devoted solely to your cards? If you are like me and like as little clutter as possible, scanning your cards is the way to go which can just as beautifully be created into layouts that can be printed out as well.
You don’t even need to limit yourself to just cards, my wedding album has pressed flowers from wedding bouquet, a sample of the centerpiece, and the menu from the reception.

Cullen February 16th, 2008 9:17 pmHere is a cool idea that I found. There is a company out there called JourNovel. They specialize in converting Journals, Diaries, and Family Stories into Novels, Novellas, and Children’s stories. They will also take your pictures and put them in the novels. They don’t have a website, but you can e-mail them at journovel@live.com and they will give you a quote.
