Sigh… another lifter

I do not understand how people can misunderstand the concept of just enjoying the display of images but do not take anything?
Last year I created this wonderful image with the help of a tutorial from Mar’s Jumbo in honor of the VA Tech victims:

Checking my blogs stats tonight, I saw that an address from Ebay was pulling an unusually large amount of my bandwidth, to find the image on at least three items the seller had in their store, not so much as a comment, or permission to use the image, they conveniently hotlinked from my blog.
To some this may not seem like a big deal, and that I should be honored that someone chooses to steal an image off my site then to add insult to injury not having the decency to upload to their server, but put a strain on my bandwidth!
Normally, I would send a message to the offender to please respect my copyright and remove the image, but the copyright is clear so I see this as an intentional act.
My actions today are not meant as any disrespect to the Virginia Tech family, my younger brother was accepted to study there, my son’s godmother has a son that goes to school there, and I lived only 2-hours away from Blacksburg, so it is a big disrespect that someone would choose to honor that day by stealing from someone else.

Well, I have other things to do than check EVERY single of the 308 listed items.
I have to wonder how this seller would feel if others were to hotlink those huge images and have a couple thousand visitors pass through everyday, and see how happy they would feel if their server company were to cut them off and charge them more for exceeding their bandwidth limit.
