Presumptive nominee: Barack Obama

This was a long time coming, I still have a hard time believing that Barack Obama could go all the way to winning the nomination.
A great big thanks to Andy at Political Realm for letting me use this awesome picture of Obama with the backdrop of Mt. Rushmore, if you are a political junkie, looking for truly fair and balanced reporting, check this site out.

PS
I just finished watching his speech, and already have a layout in mind for the picture of him and Michelle on stage together, it definitely made me proud of my country!

Just curious considering how much his wife hates this country that they would use a national monument as a backdrop and the fact that he is associated with a racist church they would use a quote from one of the greatest civil rights leaders in this country.
Hate—a hard word—but can you prove it?
As for the church—isn’t it true that we all at one time or another in our lives have been associated with a group; party; church; you name it—which did not always represent our feelings and our opinions?
I really get the impression that your comment wasn’t done to add value.
sHaE-sHaE,
you are so right—getting more people interested in politics is the first step to change!
My only hope now is that the party can unite and get this country back on track.
It’s a beautiful picture, you’ve framed it beautifully, it’s been a beautiful blessing that Obama has prevailed and there isn’t enough hate in this blogsphere to ruin it.
We move forward in faith from this day.
Thanks for stopping by, unfortunately people will interpret anything the Obama’s say to fit their ideals.
Frank,
Hate is definitely not a word I like to use, not even people I intensely dislike, and the layout had nothing do with Michelle.
outofthepinksky,
I agree it was a great moment, for which I was thrilled to witness (even from in front of my TV)
Monique,
Amen, amen!
Wally,
Long time no see, and yes Political Realm rocks!
Shelia,
Thanks so much for your words of encouragement and wisdom.
Andrea,
Thank you for your kind words
Dani,
So great to have you back! I figured school and work were keeping you busy
