Surfing one night for motorcycles, (because I am getting the urge to ride again) I discovered and fell head over heels for Real Divas Ride, an online forum for the riding diva. I learned to ride back in high school and thankfully I am married to one of the most adventurous husband imaginable who is trying is hardest to convince me to go skydiving, (sorry) and he has promised we will get bikes, thus the research.

This great group of divas are giving back to a worthy cause in the form of a Ride For A Cure through the United States and Canada for a total of 5,010 miles!

For details and the route list visit Ride For A Cure, and lend a hand to a worthy cause.

As you may or may not know, my father-in-law is a cancer survivor and I am growing my sons hair to donate to children stricken by cancer and my kids are running a lemonade stand to raise funds for Children’s Cancer Research, so this is an issue near and dear to my heart. So whenever I hear of such a cause I will lend a helping hand.

Thanks for doing this, anything that can raise money for research helps all of us! The hair is a precious commidity, it is hard enough for adults to endure losing their hair. Kids need a special break when it comes to cancer. Many people I know are doing it.

I love it! I’m more of a purple ribbon kinda gal myself right now, but I am always glad to see folks helping out their favorite causes. Ride on!

Wow, love the adventurous spirit and marriage Ada! I think it’s great to have the kids grow their hair for a cause, you instill your desire to be benevolent in them early.

Great cause, I hope they have great success.

    Funny, bike riding…me?…naaaah. Skydiving…YES!! :)

I would love to go skydiving, but I’m worried I would have a stroke on the way down haha. I’m glad to hear your father is a survivor. Great cause.

Aww, what a wonderful thing your kids are doing! Wow.

I am such a cancer research advocate, I really love hearing the things people are doing to help fund research.

And girl, I am way too much of a chicken to even sit on a motorcycle!

Woah! I’m highly impressed with the bikes on the forum. And with you too. Would you ever try that ride? :-)
