What a week!

The first week of school went of with the expected excitement and surprises.
Fay stopped by on Monday and actually stayed till Wednesday ending in tornado warnings and watches, it was especially hard on Hanna whose first full day of school was Wednesday, and the county would not allow the kids on the buses or for parents to pick up, and by the time it was safe for the buses to get on the road, she missed her bus, so to her disappointment she hasn’t ridden the bus, but looks forward to riding it home today.
Harry was excited to be back, already learning about dinosaurs (they seem to be a favorite for most boys), but was a bit disappointed that he didn’t get to take his team pictures on Wednesday due to the weather, but it’s been rescheduled to next Wednesday so I look forward to that. And yesterday their bus was stuck on the road because their stop sign had broken and they had to wait till a mechanic came out to them and fixed it.
I had all my classes this week, a couple of tests, and looking into a few on-campus organizations, and today I am relaxing, getting some housework done and studying while looking forward to the long weekend. We may go to a drive-in movie over the weekend, I’ve never been to one, and they sound like so much fun.
As promised, my work in progress school layouts so far;

Back to school

To everyone going back to school today or soon - have a great and safe year.
Some layouts/inspiration to mark the moment.
Update
I had hoped to take Harry’s picture today and start filing his page and of course my camera chose that very moment to die, but I’ll hopefully get one of him coming off the bus
