Back from our mini vacation and it was wonderful.
We stayed in Edenton as it was closer to where Frank had to work than Elizabeth City, so we were not close enough to the beach (approximately seventy miles away) but spent a lot of time at the pool, visiting historical lighthouses (the kids were enthralled with the concept of the “outhouse”), museums, and a plantation where a former Senator and Governor resided.

The drive back wasn’t as much fun as we were racing back to attend Harry’s first football meeting as well as receive his gear, but we made it, and he was grinning ear-to-ear when he was fitted out.

So of course now Hanna is on pins and needles anxiously awaiting Tuesday when she will start her cheerleading practice, it should be a lot of fun for me as well since I never had the chance to cheerlead. Thankfully I was able to work out my schedule were I would still be able to attend their practices, Harry 4 days a week, and Hanna 1 day a week.

Of course a ton of pictures to share which I should have up by tomorrow.
