Counting down the days

To so many things, the end of summer vacation, the end of summer itself, and back to school time for three in the family.
Harry is excited to start the second grade in Hulk style, he insisted that his first day of school outfit (and school bag) be to the immaculate stylings of the Incredible Hulk.
Hanna is crazy for her namesake Hannah Montana so it is all things Hannah on her side, and she is not the only one, about every girl old enough to wear one was sporting some sort of Disney gear, whether it’s Hannah, Cheetah Girls, or Raven, Disney is one the brain this summer, should be some fun days for the teachers.
As for moi, nothing much on my end, luckily all my classes are in the evening and my Calculus class is online so no fancy duds for me, my only extravagance will be investing in a trustworthy Washington Redskins coffee mug :).

…for all the birthday wishes, it was a fun day.
It started off with reading all the cards the kids made me and that my in-laws mailed from Germany and then we went out to eat.
I was a bit surprised to see how many other people were celebrating a birthday on the same day, of about roughly twenty tables, almost every other one had a birthday gal or guy.
I had to stand up and do a “chicken dance” while the employees and other patrons clapped to a version of Happy Birthday, and got to have ice-cream after.
Harry was very impressed, and has asked to have his birthday party there next month, and I never say no to Japanese food, it is my weakness :).

I haven’t a clue what my family has planned for me, but I did get an early birthday present of a massage, but I am sure whatever else has been planned will be great!
