Divas For A Cure

Surfing one night for motorcycles, (because I am getting the urge to ride again) I discovered and fell head over heels for Real Divas Ride, an online forum for the riding diva. I learned to ride back in high school and thankfully I am married to one of the most adventurous husband imaginable who is trying is hardest to convince me to go skydiving, (sorry) and he has promised we will get bikes, thus the research.
This great group of divas are giving back to a worthy cause in the form of a Ride For A Cure through the United States and Canada for a total of 5,010 miles!
For details and the route list visit Ride For A Cure, and lend a hand to a worthy cause.
As you may or may not know, my father-in-law is a cancer survivor and I am growing my sons hair to donate to children stricken by cancer and my kids are running a lemonade stand to raise funds for Children’s Cancer Research, so this is an issue near and dear to my heart. So whenever I hear of such a cause I will lend a helping hand.

Blue, Pink, Green and sometimes Yellow.
With all of my pregnancies, we never did find out the sex of the baby we were having till it was delivered, this mostly was my husband’s idea and I went along with it in the beginning but it got harder the closer my delivery day came.

So to at least have a semblance of preparing for these wonderful bundles of joy, our color schemes were limited to green and yellow, and then to the appropriate colors of pink and blue upon arrival.

That has now carried over to their childhood, so much to the point that whatever we get them has to be in those special colors, blue, pink, and green. Something as simple as buying ice-cream is now a science of choosing blue ice cream or at least pink sprinkles on top.

So to a very special daughter and two special son’s here are your colors.
